Verification of the independence requirements

At today's meeting, the Board of Directors of BPER Banca, verified that Pietro Cassani, Director elected for the rest of the three-year period 2015-2017 by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 26 November 2016, does not possess the independence requirements provided for in Art. 147-ter paragraph 4 and Article 148 paragraph 3 of the Consolidated Finance Act (Legal Decree 58/98), further to his recent new appointments outside the BPER Group.
