Public disclosures - Pillar 3
The European prudential framework for banks and investment firms, set out in Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (CRR) and Directive 2013/36/EU (CRD IV), represents the implementation within the European Union of the international standards developed by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) under the Basel III framework.
Public Disclosure (Pillar 3) constitutes the third pillar of the Basel prudential framework and is primarily governed by Part Eight of the CRR. Its objective is to ensure transparency towards the market by enabling investors, supervisory authorities and other stakeholders to assess institutions' risk profile, capital strength and risk management practices.
BPER Banca Group's Public Disclosure (Pillar 3) is prepared on a quarterly basis in accordance with Part Eight of the CRR and, starting from the reference date of 30 June 2025, is published on the EBA website (Pillar 3 Data Hub section of the European Data Access Portal - EDAP), pursuant to Article 434 of the CRR. The Public Disclosure (Pillar 3) document is also published, as permitted by the above-mentioned regulatory framework, in this section of the Group's corporate website.
