Once again in the second quarter and first half of this year, BPER delivered excellent results, which take on even greater significance in light of the outstanding effort made to complete the integration of Banca Popolare di Sondrio. We are continuing to meet the targets set out in the Business Plan at a faster pace than planned, as the 2028 projections confirm.
Our new initiatives in Corporate Banking, Private Banking & Wealth Management, Bancassurance, Digital Banking and Operational Excellence will be a further catalyst for this growth. In just eighteen months, we have led an extraordinary change in terms of scale, strategic positioning and business model, transforming BPER into a national banking group with sound fundamentals, know -how and the investment capacity to systemically support our Country.
