Increase in the investment held in Arca SGR

Having obtained the required authorisation from the Supervisory Authority, Banca popolare dell'Emilia Romagna S.c. (BPER) today purchased shares in Arca SGR S.p.A. (Arca) from Banco Popolare Soc. Coop. (6,166,000 shares, representing 12.332% of the share capital) and from Banca Popolare dell’Alto Adige S.c.p.a. (210,984 shares, representing 0.422% of the share capital), for a total of € 61,219,046.
As a result, BPER's interest in Arca has increased from 19.998% to 32.752%.
The purchase was completed at the end of the procedure that began with the withdrawal by the shareholders Banco Popolare Soc. Coop. and Banca Popolare dell’Alto Adige S.c.p.a. following the changes to the articles of association adopted by Arca with a view to redefining its organisational and governance model.
