Let’s talk about money in universities to turn a taboo into a skill.

The initiative stems from a desire to systematically promote financial literacy and equal opportunities, with a particular focus on the younger generation. In a socio-economic context where discussing money, rights and equality still presents a cultural challenge, engaging in dialogue with students plays a strategic role in fostering a more conscious, informed and inclusive approach.

What if talking about money were the first step to truly understanding it?

The roadshow

Break The Taboo is touring Italy to meet young people at universities, listen to their concerns about money, understand their fears, and work together to break down the taboos that often complicate everyday financial decisions.

A space where ideas, questions and discussions become useful tools for navigating tomorrow’s decisions, helping the younger generation to look to their future with greater awareness and confidence.

The voices

The discussion is shaped by two authoritative and complementary voices, capable of offering clear insights and data on the economic landscape:

Azzurra Rinaldi, an economist, lecturer in Political Economy at Unitelma Sapienza University, as well as founder of Equonomics and a member of the ABI Advisory Board.

Luigi Morselli, who has been with BPER since 1990, has extensive experience in financial consultancy and currently heads the Group’s Supplementary Pension Scheme.

The answer with which everything goes on
In an episode of Est Radio's video podcast, Luigi Morselli, Head of Supplementary Pensions at BPER Banca, gave a clear answer to a question that often seems complicated: where do you start? The answer is not what you imagine.
Hence the idea of creating a live discussion, to do financial education together, without too many turns of phrase.

The summer date

On Saturday, September 6th, took place the summer edition of FinTonic, with the feet in the sand at the Fantini Club in Cervia. It featured an interactive talk hosted by Andrea Scotto di Carlo of EST RADIO and featuring Luigi Morselli, Head of Supplementary Pensions at BPER Banca for BPER.
