Building a peaceful and secure future

We organise and promote initiatives to spread knowledge and skills in financial management among adults, along with insurance and social security matters. The aim is to improve people's ability to make informed choices that are consistent with their needs and possibilities.

Decision-making tools

Personal and household financial decisions are essential for living well today and laying the groundwork for a secure future. The educational courses we offer start with financial planning, to control spending and savings and manage mortgages and loans for major purchases such as a home. The aim is to provide tools for autonomy so that people can make informed decisions about investments, asset protection and health, with insurance solutions and supplementary pensions, to ensure long-term peace of mind.

Why is financial education essential?

Through financial education, we provide concepts and skills to navigate the economic and financial aspects of the world around us. These are essential tools for navigating everyday life with greater awareness and less anxiety as consumers, workers, and entrepreneurs who save, invest, and think about the future:

  • Make informed decisions: thoroughly understanding the options available, from mortgages to financial instruments for investing, means making choices that are aligned with your goals and sustainable for your finances;
  • Manage your money better: creating an effective budget and learning to control your income/expenses allows you to optimise your resources, build savings, monitor your debt and be able to invest;
  • Build wealth: knowing how to save means starting to invest, i.e. thinking ahead about your future;
    Protect yourself from the unexpected: planning for emergencies and protecting yourself from unexpected events means living with greater peace of mind for yourself and your loved ones;
  • Realising your dreams: whether it's buying a home, starting a business or enjoying a peaceful retirement, having a solid financial foundation is the first step;
  • Living with less stress: being financially literate and understanding what is going on around you helps you feel more confident in your financial choices and not procrastinate on important decisions;
  • Being more resilient: to cope with unexpected expenses, overcome life's unforeseen events, and get through difficult and uncertain times without feeling overwhelmed by the situation;
  • Avoiding pitfalls: knowing who to turn to for professional financial advice, understanding the advantages and risks of online technologies, and mastering the emotional aspects that influence financial choices will help you avoid unpleasant surprises.

Oltre il rosa

Managing money wisely is a fundamental skill that can be learned. Together with Professor Azzurra Rinaldi, we have created two series of webinars dedicated to financial education. These events and lessons focus on the basics, discussing practical tools such as investments, mortgages, insurance, pensions and budgeting, with the aim of providing clarity, helping people become more independent, make informed choices and overcome taboos.
Please note: lessons and materials are available only in Italian.

Why money doesn't fall from helicopters

An original BPER Banca production, six episodes discussing economics, globalisation, GDP, inflation, risk and much more. The protagonists are an irreverent economist, Luciano Canova, accustomed to discussing economics on social media, and a team of brilliant and curious Gen Zers. The result is a video podcast in which two generations come together to discuss and reflect on the impact of the economy on everyday life, including personal finance management. The aim is to understand that small-scale financial management is part of a larger and more complex system.

Training to train

‘Fundamentals of financial education. Training to train’ is a free course developed by BPER for teachers of all school levels to learn how to interpret financial realities, distinguish risks and opportunities, and connect economics and sustainability. It consists of five certified hours on S.O.F.I.A., the Ministry of Education's online platform for the training and professional development of school staff. Training to train means building a school capable of educating students about responsibility, well-being and the future.

Supplementary Pension

Planning for the future in order to look to tomorrow with greater serenity is the goal of supplementary pension provision: an increasingly important topic to which we have decided to dedicate a series of webinars. These are appointments with experts to explore the most relevant aspects of supplementary pension provision, both for individuals and companies.

A handbook against economic violence
Created by BPER together with D.i.Re - Donne in Rete contro la violenza (Women Networked Against Violence), as a practical tool to help women recognise and prevent economic violence and build or regain their relationship with money. To understand how economic violence can affect women of all ages and social backgrounds and how it can also hide in subtle and less obvious forms of abuse. Economic dependence can otherwise be the result of control or economic exploitation by a partner or of damage caused deliberately to weaken the financial position of the victim of violence.

Bite-sized

If I had known…
Reflections on financial education and its impact on the everyday life of savers, the environment, society and its future.

Pills to ignite a spark of curiosity about the relationship between us and money, between money and technological innovation, between the expectations we have and the strategies to turn them into reality.

Financial education in many ways

Our podcast
For those who want to learn about economics and finance in a direct and enjoyable way. Not just podcasts on personal finance or podcasts on economics and finance in the strict sense, but also stories that belong to our collective imagination and tales, sometimes surprising, that become a pretext for discussing economic issues, too often considered distant from people's lives.
Our webinars
In our economics webinars, we cover topics of interest to businesses and entrepreneurs, such as internationalisation and economic and political scenarios abroad. Other webinars address key personal finance issues, particularly supplementary pensions and financial education for women.
