Open-air cinemas
The festivals
The 22nd edition took place in Bologna from 5 to 15 June: 11 days, 5 venues and more than 70 screenings, as well as 3 days dedicated to professional development and networking amongst professionals in the audiovisual sector, and a Campus which runs projects with schools and local communities throughout the year.
The festival celebrates Italian and international cinema with screenings, masterclasses and awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Green Award, dedicated to environmental issues. We are particularly committed to supporting Marateale in School, the section aimed at students, and Marateale in Short, dedicated to short films. This initiative combines entertainment, culture and education, promoting cinema as a tool for personal growth, reflection and the discovery of new talent.

The festival takes place from 2 to 6 July in Bagheria, a city that symbolises identity and tradition, and offers screenings, meetings, and cultural exchanges.
For us, supporting this initiative means enhancing not only auteur cinema, but also local communities, young talents and dialogue between cultures, in one of the most evocative and authentic places in Sicily.
