According to the annual ranking compiled by Extel (formerly Institutional Investor Research), a specialised magazine and independent research company in the field of international finance, the CEO of BPER, Gianni Franco Papa, is ranked ‘Best Ceo’ in the Small & Mid-Cap Banks sector in the 2025 edition of the ranking.
The magazine also awarded the Bank's Cfo, Simone Marcucci, and the Head of Investor Relations, Nicola Sponghi, respectively the ‘Best Cfo’ and ‘Best IR Professional’ in the Small & Mid Cap Banks sector.
