Our future is all about you

As we evolve as a banking group, one question guides every decision we make: how can we grow alongside you?
The new generation is not just a trend: it is the driving force behind our innovation, our digital transformation, our dynamism and, above all, our commitment to meeting the expectations of those who support you in life’s choices. We believe that for any relationship to be genuine, it must be based on human values. This is what we strive to convey in every service, product, initiative and journey we offer.
Because the future we envision together with you is built on trust, simplicity and security.

The voice of transformation

When we talk about the Next Generation, we’re talking about you: people born between the 1990s and the early 2000s, who have grown up in a digital, fast-paced, interconnected world.
You are global citizens, conscious and mindful of sustainability, inclusion and innovation as a means to improve the present.
You don’t wait for change to happen: you drive it forward.
In Europe, you are also at the heart of the ‘Next Generation EU’ plan, a project that invests in your ideas, your skills and your forward-looking approach.

The Bank evolves with you

Esempio di RTE

We are accelerating digital transformation for an increasingly smart service. With the BPER App, we offer an advanced digital solution that is rich in innovative features, secure, and allows you to operate without delays, wherever you are.

Our financial education initiatives are designed to accompany you through every stage of your growth. Because learning how to manage money, save and invest is not just a matter of numbers: it is the first step towards independence, freedom and a future built on your choices.

We support culture, art and sport because we believe in experiences that leave their mark. We want to be more than just a bank: we want to be a partner by your side in moments that inspire, make you think and challenge you. Because we believe in complete and authentic human development.

Break The Taboo

BPER’s roadshow brings an open forum to universities where students can discuss money, freedom and the future. It’s an opportunity to talk openly and frankly, in a simple and clear way.

The session helps participants to understand the data, trends and stereotypes that influence their day-to-day decisions, and offers practical tools to help them make more independent choices: from responsible money management to the basics of pensions, with the aim of building a more solid and practical understanding of personal finance.

BPER x Patty: when a vision becomes a business

Three young people have turned a dream into a reality: opening a burger joint in the heart of Modena. With BPER, they tackled the most practical aspect: money. How much does it really cost to set up a business? Where do you start? How do you deal with the unexpected, budgets and difficult decisions?
The video follows their journey step by step: enthusiasm, mistakes, balancing the books, choices to be corrected and moments when all you need is courage.
Content designed for those who dream of starting a business and want to understand, without filters, what it means to build something from scratch.

Paghette, where money makes sense in an eye-blink

Paghette is BPER Banca’s Instagram community, where we talk about money, smart choices and everything that usually seems ‘too complicated’.
Here you’ll find clear, quick and useful content to help you really understand how to navigate finance, the economy and the decisions that matter — no complicated formulas, no beating about the bush.

BPER x Est Radio

Since 2021, we have been working with EST Radio to discuss money, digital technology and everyday choices in a simple and straightforward way. It’s an open dialogue that helps us understand what really matters today and imagine how a bank that cares about the younger generation might evolve.
Together, we’re producing a series of podcasts in which the Next Gen share their own relationship with money: covering saving, spending, dreams and a few questions about the future.
BPER experts also take part in the conversations, offering clear, useful and accessible advice, because learning to manage money can be not only useful, but also fun.
TIPS by Est Radio & Paghette
Together with EST Radio and Paghette, BPER has created TIPS, a series of videos that draws directly on the voices of Gen Z. Content created by you, telling the story of what life is really like when it comes to money: between rent, a concert and a bit of savings to put aside.
Each episode, on TikTok and Instagram, explores real-life choices: saving or spending wisely, understanding what really matters, and seeing how digital technology is changing the way we manage our money.
Together with BPER, EST Radio and Paghette, we want to build a new culture of money: lighter, more useful, more yours. Because knowing how to manage money is important, but knowing how to live with it is even more so.
A video podcast to talk to young people
'Perché i soldi non cascano dagli elicotteri?' is an original BPER production: six episodes tackling topics such as the economy, globalisation, GDP, inflation and risk in a clear and practical way.
The discussion features economist Luciano Canova and a team of bright and inquisitive Gen Z youngsters.
The result is a video podcast in which two generations exchange views and reflect on how much the economy influences our daily choices, often more than we realise.
Fintonic: the first financial aperitif
In 2024, BPER and Est Radio launched Fintonic. The idea is simple: to talk about money, the future and financial choices in a clear, straightforward manner, with a light-hearted approach, over a drink. The goal? To eliminate doubts and fears about the future, so that people can manage their money with greater confidence and awareness.

Cultural initiatives and events

Premio Strega
BPER supports the Strega Prize, one of the most important literary events in Italy promoted by the Maria and Goffredo Bellonci Foundation and Liquore Strega, with the contribution of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
Arte Fiera 2025
BPER is Main Partner of Arte Fiera Bologna, one of the most eagerly awaited national trade fair events.
Also this year the event is enriched by the BPER Prize, dedicated to the promotion of women's issues.
Venice Biennale 2024
On the occasion of the 60th Venice Biennale, BPER was sponsor of the Venice Pavilion presenting a high-profile artistic exhibition project dedicated to the social and emotional dimension of the search for identity.

Sei Città, the podcast from the suburbs

Sei Città is the podcast that gives a voice to young people in Italy’s suburbs. Together with Valerio Millefoglie — musician, composer, writer and performer — we explore six neighbourhoods that are often portrayed solely through stereotypes. It is the young people themselves who guide us, sharing stories, ideas and perspectives that reveal a community far richer, more creative and full of energy than one might think.
The podcast was created as part of Present4Future, a project conceived by BPER Banca and Gruppo Abele to promote local communities and the younger generation.

A social inclusion project

Not just money, but also attention to communities, education and culture. This is how Present4Future came about, a project conceived by BPER Banca together with Fondazione Gruppo Abele, which for three years has been carrying out a programme of social, educational, sporting and cultural activities involving six Italian cities: Milan, Rome, Genoa, Turin, Naples and Palermo. Needless to say, the protagonists were the young people who guided us on a journey through the suburbs and told us their stories.
